Intrebare-ntrebatoare

Vederea acestui costum de baie intreg pe ModCloth mi-a readus in minte toate dubiile mele privind costume de baie intregi vs. deux-pieces-uri de diverse tipuri. Eu am "iesit la vanatoare" dupa unul intreg in ultimele saptamani - pe plaja, bronzarea ma preocupa mai putin decat alte activitati de genul balacitului si cititului de carti simpatice sub umbrele largi. Costumele intregi s-ar putea dovedi mai comode decat toate atisoarele care risca sa se desfaca in momente nepotrivite. In plus (si cred ca e motivul principal) - un costum de baie intreg e mai cochet si chiar, intr-un fel, nitel mai provocator decat unele surori mai putin modeste :D - intr-o mare de burice la vedere, un costum de inspiratie retro, purtat cu incredere si fler poate trezi mai mult interes. Deux-pieces-urile au nenumarate avantaje si, bine alese, pot sculpta cu mare succes un corp prea putin pregatit pentru plaja, dar as vrea foarte mult sa va aflu parerea?

Intreg sau bikini? Plaja e pentru bai de soare si distractie, un costum intreg, mai ales de inspiratie retro pare nelalocul lui? Sau nu?

Un exemplu de costum de baie in 1927, aparut in revista italiana L'Illustrazione.

Si un citat exemplificator dintr-o nuvela scrisa de Jack London, cu zece ani inainte de asta, in 1917:
Ida Barton was the cause of their perturbation and disapproval. They disapproved, seriously so, at the first instant's glimpse of her. They thought—such ardent self-deceivers were they—that they were shocked by her swimming suit. (...) Ida Barton's swimming suit was a very nice one, as women's suits go. Of thinnest of firm-woven black wool, with white trimmings and a white belt-line, it was high-throated, short-sleeved, and brief- skirted. Brief as was the skirt, the leg-tights were no less brief. Yet on the beach in front of the adjacent Outrigger Club, and entering and leaving the water, a score of women, not provoking gasping notice, were more daringly garbed. Their men's suits, as brief of leg-tights and skirts, fitted them as snugly, but were sleeveless after the way of men's suits, the arm-holes deeply low- cut and in-cut, and, by the exposed armpits, advertiseful that the wearers were accustomed to 1916 decollete.
